Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → find 114 → Cancel. Cancellation must happen at least 24 hours before the next renewal to avoid the next charge.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

In 114: Settings → Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID with which the original purchase was made. Family Sharing is supported.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The full text is available offline after first launch. Daily Verse updates and translation downloads require an internet connection.

Can I use the app without an account?

Yes — an account is entirely optional. Without an account, your bookmarks and reading progress are kept privately on your device and never leave it. Signing in is only necessary if you would like to sync across multiple devices.

Does 114 share my data with anyone?

No. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to advertisers or data brokers. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How do I change the translation or script?

Settings → Reader → Translation (English / German) or Script (original / transliteration).

I found a bug. What now?

Please email hello@read114.com with a short description. A screenshot or short video is ideal. If we can reproduce the issue, we will include the fix in the next release.

Can I request a feature?

Yes. Feature requests are welcome at the same email. We read everything. We ship what fits the product.

In 114: Einstellungen → Käufe wiederherstellen. Mit der gleichen Apple ID, mit der der Kauf ursprünglich getätigt wurde. Familienfreigabe wird unterstützt.
